Sarah & David

December 28, 2007

I will have to admit that this was our first Mormon (LDS) wedding. Sarah is a beautiful bride and the two of them make for a cute couple. Since it was a Mormon wedding there weren’t the usual ceremony shots but some very nice post ceremony formals and group shots as well as a reception luncheon and a great reception. The ceremony itself and the post ceremony formals and group shots were taken at the Dallas LDS temple with the luncheon and reception at Heritage Ranch in McKinney/Fairview.

Tessa Grace @ 6 months.

December 27, 2007

We did Tessa’s portraits when she was only 6 weeks old. Now that she’s 6 months it was time to do it again. This time with better lighting and being that it was the holidays we had a Christmas tree as a prop. Looking back at her previous shoot she has grown so much. She’s still just as photogenic!

Merry Christmas…

And a Happy New Year from our family to yours.

Photo of the Month

December 9, 2007

I knew when I first saw this shot that it was going to be one of the shots that was in the running for Photo of the Month. When going back through the library of our work for the previous month Michelle and I both pointed at this one and we knew it was the one. It is a shot from Annie & Tung’s wedding and is a vintage BMW Isetta that Tung got as their get-away car. Probably one of the most unique and creative ideas for a wedding reception get-away vehicle that I’ve seen.

Whitley & Family

December 8, 2007

Whitley’s mom wanted some good shots of her and the family and wanted to include both her passion for volleyball as well as cheerleading. We did this shoot in south Arlington at Stovall Park. Whitley is definitely a teenager with a lot of personality and is very good in front of the camera.
