I guess I really wasn’t surprised when the district announced last night that all of the schools would be closed today due to inclimate weather. I woke up well before sunrise this morning and couldn’t wait for the sun to come up just enough to give me decent light to see what the additional snowfall overnight had brought. The yard which was a mess after yesterday’s snowball fights, snowman building and general horsing around was all fresh and new. In other areas snow like this wouldn’t be much to talk about but for Texas, this is substantial. Last night the single day’s snowfall record was broken and from what I understand I don’t believe we have ever seen this much. We are enjoying it while we can!!

Of course whenever you’re in or around the Shops at Legacy in Plano you are bound to see something like this but when I’m there I usually don’t have a camera other than my cell phone with me. If my oldest son was there he would have been jumping up and down screaming at the sight of this little gem.
