Rebecca & Jacob Engagements

February 9, 2008

Talk about a fun couple! We had a blast shooting Rebecca & Jacob. This is a couple that works so well together. There wasn’t a lot of direction from me on how they should interact which to me is perfect. The better two individuals interact and the more comfortable they are with each other makes the resulting images more sincere and natural. Rebecca has the type of face that is just a natural and is great both smiling and not. These two have a lifetime of laughs ahead of them.

Kevin & Landy

November 23, 2007

I’m definitely a dog lover and I have to say that out of all of the dogs I have worked with both as a photographer and not, these two are some of the most well behaved Rot’s I’ve ever met. Kevin & Landy are quite fortunate to have such a well mannered pair of pups!

Rachel & Sam Engagements

November 21, 2007

Even though we’re not going to be able to do Rachel & Sam’s wedding it was great to be able to do some engagement shots for them.

Annie & Tung

October 27, 2007

Now this is a cute couple! We did their engagements at the Arboretum and had a ton of fun. We can’t wait for the wedding, it is going to be a blast!

Kari & Rodney

October 20, 2007

We did Kari & Rodney’s engagements at the old cotton mill in McKinney. The mill opened in 1910 and ran until it was shut down in 1969. It is definitely one of our favorite places to shoot, especially if we’re in the mood for some old urban style.

Christine & Beau Engagement

October 7, 2007

Christine & Beau were such a fun couple. I’m so fortunate to be able to shoot people that have such a good connection with each other that I don’t have to solicit smiles. They just come naturally. Christine & Beau picked Deep Ellum as a backdrop for their engagements and we couldn’t have asked for a better shoot. Deep Ellum has such a variety of backgrounds and textures and it’s just plain fun. Some of their shots have become my favorites and I can guarantee that we’ll be back down there soon.

Since Christopher and Kristen will be having a destination wedding that not everyone will be able to attend the family had a party for all of their local friends and family. They had it at a cool little winery in Lakewood called Times Ten Cellars. We had a lot of fun and this location is definitely going into our list of favorites. For as long as we lived and have been visiting the Lakewood area I had not heard about Times Ten until this event. When you walk in you are greeted by a huge glass wall that looks into the Barrel Room. Christopher & Kristen’s families had decorated the tables with glass vases filled with water and live fish. Very cool!
