I woke up well before sunrise this morning and couldn’t wait for the sun to come up just enough to give me decent light to see what the additional snowfall overnight had brought. The yard which was a mess after yesterday’s snowball fights, snowman building and general horsing around was all fresh and new. In other areas snow like this wouldn’t be much to talk about but for Texas, this is substantial. Last night the single day’s snowfall record was broken and from what I understand I don’t believe we have ever seen this much. We are enjoying it while we can!!

These were all taken around 10:30 PM last night with exposures from between 1 second to 7 seconds. Lots of fun!

That’s blizzard weather by Dallas standards. These were taken this morning, about thirty minutes after the snow had started. I can’t wait to see what it is going to look like tomorrow morning!!
