We did it! The new site is alive. Go have a look, browse around, enjoy the scenery. A little history behind the change and what all went into it….

As we readied ourselves to celebrate the new year we decided that we needed a fresh start. A few ideas popped into our heads and over the next few days we tossed around a few more ideas. One thing was for certain, we needed a new website. Something bigger, better and more inviting…something “fresh.” Once we had that decision made we realized that we needed to update our client proofing as well. Ok, why stop there? Let’s update the blog with a new look too! Now we got a little excited and crazy (which is pretty common for us) and the cherry on top was a new logo to go with our new, “fresh”, everything else.

Now that we’re ‘live’ I’m sure the crew will enjoy having a little time back with Mommy & Daddy. Not to mention that we’ll enjoy being able to go to bed at a somewhat decent hour. Oh and we’ll get some good time behind the lens’ instead of behind the lcd screens!

The clock is ticking and we are feverishly working on the new website. We published our Facebook page today and we are excited to be rolling out our new look on the 20th!

The new website launch is coming quick! Bits and pieces have been coming together as you might have seen here. You’ll notice our new branding which has already gone into place here on the blog. We are very excited about moving into 2009 and excited to show you everything that we have been working on from last year through the new year.

We have already started booking weddings & portraits for this year. Valentine’s portrait sessions will be filling up soon so make sure you call or email to schedule yours today. Once the new website is live you will still have the ability to book your date via our online calendar.

We hope everyone had a great start to 2009 today. We are looking forward to an exciting year. We will be starting off very soon with an entire new design. You will see a fresh new look on everything we do. Here’s a sneak peek:

New Website – We have decided to go for a new look. One that showcases what we do in a better light. A site that you can see more of the images that we capture.

New Blog – The prep-work has been done and we are working hard on a new design that will go hand in hand with the new website.

New Client Proofing – While we have not settled on a final solution yet we want something that has a better feel to it. A proofing gallery and shopping cart that looks as great as the new website and blog.

There are a few more changes that we have in store but what fun would it be to spoil the surprise. Keep watching over the next few weeks as we begin to roll out the new face of what we do. As always, we welcome suggestions and any feedback you feel like giving.

One of the additional steps in getting ready for our new web rollout was to upgrade our blog software to the latest version. We just completed this successfully so if you run across something that doesn’t seem right or looks out of place please let us know!

This is due to some prep-work for our main site updates which will be occuring over the next week or two. If you have perma-links to our blog please be aware that the address will most likely change again during the course of these updates.
